Event Program Available

26th March 2019

The official Jabulani Challenge Event Program is now available for download via the link below. This important document contains lots of information so we recommend taking a few minutes to have a good read. Chances are that if you have a question it is answered in the Event Program.

All race bib numbers will be available for collection on race morning, no race numbers will be posted out before the event so please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to collect your race number before your designated event start time.

What time does my distance start? Where can I park? What is provided at the Aid Stations? All these questions plus many more are answered.

Transfers & Course Changes

Now that online transfers and course changes have closed, last minute participant transfers and course changes can only be done on race morning at registration.

Course Changes

If you are looking to downgrade or upgrade distances on the day this can still be done. You will need to head to the ‘Transfers’ desk at registration to complete the change. You will be allocated with a new race bib number to reflect your new distance. Runners stepping down in distance are NOT eligible for any refunds while runners going up in distance will need to pay the difference in entry price between the two distances.

Please note that failure to complete this change could see you directed along your original course by staff and event marshals along the route.

Replacement runners are required to bring along written proof/registration confirmation (a message/email on your phone will suffice) from the original runner. You will need to line up at the ‘Transfers’ desk at registration to complete the transfer.

On the day transfers will incur a $20 admin fee (payable by the new runner), cash preferred. Exchange of funds for original race entry fees will be a private transaction between the two runners. Please allow extra time to complete registration on race morning. To help speed up the process we recommend filling out the attached ‘Transfer Form’ on the link below and bringing with you on the day.

Sweet Merchandise

You can still order the official Jabulani Challenge Event T-Shirt ($40), Singlet ($37) or Event Visors ($22.50).

Event merchandise is only available by pre-order and will not be offered for sale on the day. The last day for online orders is midnight on Thursday 28th March. You can purchase this limited edition merchandise by logging into your event registration online and adding it to your entry.

Manufactured from our friends at ThermaTech these Men’s and Women’s SpeedDri performance tee’s and singlets offer ultimate UV protection, moisture management and comfort, keeping you cool in summer and dry all year round. SpeedDri draws sweat away from the skin, towards the surface of the fabric, where it quickly evaporates, keeping you dry and helping you perform at your peak.

Also available is the Jabulani Challenge Event Visor ($22.50). This high quality UPF50 ThermaTech visor is fully adjustable via a velcro strap and is just what you need to keep the sun off your face without the overheating or hair constricting effects of a cap. Visors only available in white (black sold out).

All merchandise can be collected on race day from the ThermaTech stall. No merchandise is mailed out pre-event. Postage costs will be incurred for uncollected merchandise mailed out post-event.

Volunteer Help

We still need a few volunteers for the Jabulani Challenge. Volunteers could be assisting at one of the aid stations, acting as a trail marshal, handing out finishers medals or a variety of other tasks.

All volunteers at the Jabulani Challenge will receive a free volunteer t-shirt and cap and will be provided with a snack bag to keep you going during the day. As an added bonus all volunteers are eligible for a free entry into one of Maximum Adventure’s great trail running events in 2019, either Western Sydney Parklands Trail Run, Raffertys Coastal Run, Coastal Classic or Bouddi Coastal Run or the 2020 edition of the Jabulani Challenge.

If you have a family member, trail running buddy or friend keen to come along and volunteer at the event (with the chance to see you in action on the course) simply get them to fill in the Volunteer Form available via the link below.
