Event Update – Reminders11th March 2021
Not long to go now until the 2021 Jabulani Challenge on 17th April.
Whether you’ve signed up for the 12km, 22km or 45km course option, this event is one experience that you are really going to love! The scenic waterside trails, challenging single track and deceptive climbs all await the discerning trail runner. These really are some of the best trails to be found in the Sydney area and will leave you on a high having conquered this event.
Some important reminders are listed below so that you arrive on race day fully prepared and ready to smash your goals.
Every runner MUST sign their event waiver, otherwise you will not be allowed to run. You can do this up until race day by going to your MyEvents portal on www.active.com and following the Unsigned Waiver prompts or clicking the link in the Waiver Reminder emails you have been receiving from us.
Please be aware that you will NOT be mailed your race bib prior to the event unless you have signed your event waiver, therefore to avoid having to collect your bib and sign your waiver at registration you will need to sign your waiver online by midnight Sunday 21st March.
Event t-shirts and singlets are still available for purchase if you forgot to add one to your entry. You can do this by going to your MyEvents portal on www.active.com and within your event registration following the prompts to add purchases. Merchandise orders close at midnight Sunday 11th April.
Race Bibs Mailing Address (NSW addresses only)
In order to receive your race bib in the mail prior to the event, you will need to ensure your address for your event entry is accurate. This can be updated by going to your MyEvents portal on www.active.com and within your event registration changing your details. If you have trouble doing this please let us know and we can update for you. This will need to be completed by midnight Sunday 21st March.
Runners are strongly encouraged to carpool with fellow runners to help reduce congestion as parking is extremely limited at Bobbin Head where the Start & Finish is located. There is a $12 National Park entry fee applicable per car, which is NOT included in your entry fee. You must pay this at the toll booth when you enter the park or at one of the parking machines in the park or otherwise you will risk a fine.
A shuttle bus has been organised for runners which will run participants from Turramurra Train Station to Bobbin Head and back to Turramurra Station at various times during the day. The shuttles to the Start will run on the hour (6am, 7am & 8am) to allow runners plenty of time before the race starts to complete registration. You will need to book in your seats before race day through your MyEvents portal on www.active.com and within your event registration following the prompts to add purchases. There is a charge of $1 per seat for the bus transfer. Ensure you select the correct number of seats required as this will impact the bus charter service capacity. This will need to be completed by midnight Wednesday 14th April.
