Final Race Day Details

Thursday, April 3, 2025

The 2025 Jabulani Challenge is nearly here! We can’t wait to see you at Bobbin Head on Saturday.

We would like to remind all runners that they must carry 500mL of fluids for their race.

RACE BIBS:
Race bibs will be available to pick up from registration on Saturday morning from 6:30am. You will need to know your race bib number for collection. Please click the  link below to download the runner list and find your bib number.

As mentioned in the video the event will be a ‘trickle’ start, 2 runners every 5 seconds to help prevent congestion and bottle-necks on course. Please make use of the ‘time target’ signs that will be displayed in the start area.

EVENT PROGRAM:
The Event Program is available via the button below. This important document has all the information you need about the race including the event schedule, location, transport, race bibs, registration and aid stations. Remember there is no temporary food or beverage vendors at this event so you are encouraged to be self-sufficient for the event and bring everything you need with you, or make use of the two cafes at Bobbin Head, one next to the NPWS Visitor Centre and one within Empire Bay Marina.

PARKING, SHUTTLE BUS, & TRACKWORK:
Please be aware that parking is limited at Bobbin Head where the event start/finish is located. Carpooling with your fellow runners is a great way to reduce congestion and means you can share the epic trail stories on the way home. Remember your entry does not include the $12 per car NPWS parks use fee. You must pay this at the toll booth when you enter the park or at one of the parking machines in the park or otherwise you will risk a fine. If you are parking in the overflow parking area at Apple Tree Bay please park in marked car spaces only and avoid the areas marked for cars with trailers. Local rangers patrol this area regularly.

If you have pre-purchased a seat on the shuttle bus from Turramurra Train Station, those busses will be leaving at 6am, 7am and 8am to arrive in time to register and warm up before the race starts at 7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am respectively. The bus will depart from the Rohini St Bus Bay across the road from the train station and drop you off right near race registration.

Please note that there is trackwork scheduled for this weekend on the T1 North Shore Line. Trains will only be running between Berowra/Hornsby and North Sydney (including Turramurra).  Participants will need to change to either Metro or Bus for further connections. No change to the scheduled timings of Train services at Turramurra.  See Trip Planner for more details.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
