Jabulani Challenge

Saturday 6th April 2019
Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, NSW

The 2019 Jabulani Challenge was a huge success in sunny conditions with over 900 runners tackling the 12km, 22km & 45km courses. We had some super quick runners on the day with many course records smashed. Well done to all runners, we hope you achieved your goals!

The new 2019 course reversal meant a brand new challenge for runners with the morning mist rising off the water as the first 45km runners hit the trails adding to the atmosphere of the event.

Runners were raving about the beauty of the Gibberagong and Warrimoo trails as they utilised the Tailwind out on course and loved the picturesque finishing area at Bobbin Head and the free Go Natural goodies that awaited them. The natural beauty and technical nature of the trails sure made the sore legs worth it the next day.

The front of the field runners were rewarded with some terrific prizes from ThermaTech but the real winners on the day were all the runners that took on and conquered the course, whether they finished in 1 hour or in over 7 hours.

A shout out as well to all our incredible volunteers who helped make the event happen, it wouldn’t have happened without you!
