Event Program Now Available

Tuesday, March 21, 2023

The Jabulani Challenge is nearly here for 2023! We are stoked to welcome everyone back to beautiful Bobbin Head to tackle the trails through Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park.

The Event Program is now available with information on all race distances, 45km, 22km and 12km courses.

This important document has all the information you need about the race including the event schedule, location, parking, registration rules and aid station information. Please note that all race bibs will be available for collection on race morning from 6.30am. We recommend you aim to arrive at registration to collect your race bib 45 minutes before your respective race starts.

Please be aware that parking is limited at Bobbin Head where the event start/finish is located. Carpooling with your fellow runners is a great way to reduce congestion and means you can even share some stories on the way home. Remember your entry does not include the $12 per car NPWS parks use fee. You must pay this at the toll booth when you enter the park or at one of the parking machines in the park or otherwise you will risk a fine. If you are parking in the overflow parking area at Apple Tree Bay please park in marked car spaces only and avoid the areas marked for cars and trailers. Local rangers patrol this area regularly.

Instead of driving why not make use of the event shuttle bus service from Turramurra Train Station. Leaving from the Rohini St Bus Bay across the road from the train station, the shuttle bus will take you directly to the registration. The buses will leave from Turramurra at 6am, 7am and 8am, getting you to the event centre in plenty of time before the race start times of 7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am. Just look for the marked bus and our friendly crew. You will need to BOOK IN YOUR SEATS BEFORE RACE DAY through your MyActive online registration portal – find your Jabulani Challenge 2023 entry and add a shuttle bus seat in the merchandise tab. There is a charge of $1 per seat for the shuttle bus. Ensure you select the correct number of seats required as this will impact the bus charter service capacity.

Make sure you have a good read of the entire event program well before race day by clicking the button below.

Best of luck with your last couple of weeks of training (or tapering) and we look forward to seeing you on the start line!
