Saturday, 1st April 2023
Bobbin Head, NSW

The Jabulani Challenge trail run is nearly here and we can’t wait to see you at Bobbin Head on Saturday!

The Event Program has all the information you need about the race including the event schedule, location, transport, race bibs, registration and aid stations. Remember there is no temporary food or beverage vendors at this event so you are encouraged to be self-sufficient for the event and bring everything you need with you, or make use of the two cafes at Bobbin Head, one next to the NPWS Visitor Centre and one within Empire Bay Marina.

The Final Runner List with all race numbers is also available. Knowing your bib number will ensure a smooth race bib pick up process at registration on race morning.

While the 22km course is sold out and online entries have closed for all courses, we can still accommodate runners on the day in the 12km and 45km course. If you have a friend still sitting on the fence encourage them to come along and join in the fun.

The Event Safety Briefing is now available on the video below, please ensure you watch this video prior to attending.

As mentioned in the video the event will be a ‘trickle’ start, 2 runners every 5 seconds to help prevent congestion and bottle-necks on course. Please make use of the ‘time target’ signs that will be displayed in the start area.

Please be aware that parking is limited at Bobbin Head where the event start/finish is located. Carpooling with your fellow runners is a great way to reduce congestion and means you can share the epic trail stories on the way home. Remember your entry does not include the $12 per car NPWS parks use fee. You must pay this at the toll booth when you enter the park or at one of the parking machines in the park or otherwise you will risk a fine. If you are parking in the overflow parking area at Apple Tree Bay please park in marked car spaces only and avoid the areas marked for cars with trailers. Local rangers patrol this area regularly.

If you have pre-purchased a seat on the shuttle bus from Turramurra Train Station, those busses will be leaving at 6am, 7am and 8am to arrive intime to register and warm up before the race starts at 7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am respectively. The busses will depart from the Rohini St Bus Bay across the road from the train station and drop you off right near race registration.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
